Program Description:

Presentations are essential for communicating information and designing them is a critical skill for all professionals. A poor presentation with too much text or ineffective graphics can distract or confuse and get in the way of achieving your goals. We will cover what makes a presentation GREAT.

Good presentation design is not only about WHAT you want to say, but HOW best to deliver a POWERFUL message. Learn a simple 4-step process: preparation, crafting your story, basic design principles and delivery strategies for dynamic and compelling presentations. We will focus on Zen Principles of mindfulness, elegance, beauty, simplicity, restraint, naturalness and balance. You will receive a template for designing and delivering outstanding presentations.

Learn a 4-step process: preparation, crafting the story, basic design principles and delivery strategies. Think like a designer, learning to use simple designs to accomplish your goal, whether to inform, educate, inspire, gain buy-in, or move to action, while connecting with and impacting your audience. 

Participants will be able to:

  • Simplify by learning “the art of simplification” - What Zen has to do with presentations.
  •  Identify 7 key elements for outstanding presentations.
  • Learn a simple 4-step process to develop stunning presentations.
  • Identify the needs of your specific audience.
  • Build the main idea, structures and stories for your next big presentation.
  • Develop your presentation from the mindset of a designer.
  • Learn to use graphics, text, and added media to enhance your presentations.
  • Practice and master the art and science of presentation.
